When taking a photo, our initial position may not be the best vantage point. We may have to take a couple steps back, forward, or even to the side to get the best possible picture. Think of it also as
when you ask a stranger to take a photo of you. You don't know what their viewpoint from the lens is until after the photo's taken and the stranger is gone. They may be a great photographer, or they could be a horrible one. Sometimes you will look at that photo and say "Is that how they saw me? Had they moved one step sideways, the picture would've looked completely different."
Transfer that to real life. In our daily lives, we are always coming across situations day in and day out. Sometimes our vantage point is not always the best one, and if only we take a step to the side, forward, back, or even into someone else's shoes it could change our perspective on the whole situation. It could allow us to have a better understanding of our own view, but also the other person's as well.
Such a small step can make a world of difference in both our lives and our lasting (digital & non-digital) memories!
